A large corporate (100K+ employees) wanted to give their employees a gift in the form of a health program worth €60 each. It was clear in advance that a large part of the employees would not participate in this program, while every gift to employees is taxed by the tax authorities. The question that arose for us is whether we could come up with a software solution for this in which only the gifts that are used were taxed instead of all of them.

THE CHALLENGE
Our challenge was to come up with a solution that would only tax the gifts that are actually used.
THE SOLUTION
We have developed an online system linked to a database containing 100K+ unique voucher codes. When an employee visits the system he or she is automatically recognized and instant links a unique voucher code to their account. A report can be taken from the system showing only the voucher codes that are actually registered.
THE RESULTS
A total of almost 10K voucher codes were registered from the 100K unique voucher codes that were available. This resulted in tax savings of 90% compared to what was expected.
